Your 4-H club can make a difference in your community by developing and carrying out a community improvement project. Whether you already have a project in mind or plan on developing one in the near future, we want to help!
ClassB Community Improvement Grant for 4-H Clubs
We at ClassB understand the importance of the 4-H program in the lives of youth in the community. We are pleased to offer a
grant to a local 4-H club as “seed money” to carry out a community improvement project.
Amount
There will be one (1) $500 grant awarded to one (1) local 4-H club.
Application

here. Only electronic submissions will be accepted. All applications must be submitted by December 1, 2011.

Reporting
Each club receiving a grant will be asked to keep a record or scrapbook of the project. Be sure to include photographs as well as any news articles or press releases. A copy of the report and its supporting documents must be sent to
rachel@classb.com. Once the report is received, we will recognize the winning 4-H club on our blog and Facebook page. Completion of the report is important in the consideration of future grants.
Guidelines
The project proposal must:
- Be determined and led by the 4-H youth members with support from the adult club leaders and volunteers.
- Have a positive and lasting impact on the community.
- Involve 4-H youth members as well as adult volunteers.
- Invite community partners to join and support.
- Project must be a new undertaking for the club.
