Details

The Gildan 5.6 oz 50% cotton, 50% polyester tee is available for customers that do not like 100% cotton t-shirts. Many of the historical benefits of 50/50 such as better color fastness and reduced shrinkage are no longer the case. Many customers report that the 50/50 runs a full size smaller than the standard 100% cotton in the youth sizes.

Sizing

These charts show the measurement of the shirt as it lays flat on a table not measurements on a person. "Width" is measured from below where the sleeves connect to the body of the t-shirt and "Length" is measured from the bottom hem to the top of the collar.

Rob N, Edwards, CASome of the shirts came with questionable quality. Here is a picture of a youth medium out of the box with holes under the arms. Further, unless they shrink A LOT, the claim that these shirts are a full size smaller is highly exaggerated. It’s fine that our kids will grow into their shirts, but we could have ordered their normal size and been fine.
