Badge Magic Instructions
ClassB offers Badge Magic to help with attaching patches to your scouts’ uniforms without the need to sew them on! We offer a few different sizes and options for whatever works best for you and your scouts.

Here is a quick and easy step-by-step guide on how to use Badge Magic Adhesive!
#1 Prepare the garment you are adhering the patches to. Wash and dry the uniform first and then iron it so that the patch has a flat surface to adhere to.

#2 Trace the outline of the patch and cut out the shape desired.

#3 Peel the printed cover off of the shape and firmly press the back of the patch onto the exposed adhesive.
#4 Peel the remaining covering off the patch and insure that the back of the patch is covered completely. Hold the patch by the edges and tuck any overhanging adhesive behind the patch.

#5 Gently place the patch onto the garment. You will still be able to move the patch around to be sure that it is positioned how you would like it. Once it is in the place you’re happy with, press down on the patch, making sure to press harder on the edges. Using a smooth solid object, such as the handle of a pair of scissors will help to ensure that the patch will be secure.

#6 To finish off using Badge Magic, you will want to heat the back side of the garment behind the patch with a hair dryer. If you are doing several patches at once, you can heat the uniform in the clothes dryer on medium heat for 5 minutes.

Now your scout is ready to wear their new uniform with their patches attached!
Tips when using Badge Magic:
- – Don’t use an iron to adhere Badge Magic! This can melt the adhesive and result in the patches coming loose.
- – Don’t dry clean!
- – Even though the uniform can be worn right away, be sure to wait 24-72 hours before washing it.
- – Tumble dry on a warm setting, not hot.
- – Wash and dry the uniform separately the first time to prevent it from sticking to other items before the adhesive has had time to completely set.
- – To protect the patches in future washes, turn the uniform inside out.
